Where’s my personal Chef Hero?

Oh for a Personal Chef, standing by to rustle up mouth watering meals and snacks!  I’ve tried to be good in life – surely I deserve a bit of help?!  It’s always the same story, I take off some weight and I’m doing well.  I realise that I need to select the right foods and in the right quantities.  Food, and indeed diet food, is readily available in our shops, but how much should I allow myself?  It’s these boundaries that I’m unsure of and that’s where that friendly, personal Chef would come in.

I also realise that it would be good to take a bit more exercise.  We all know the mantra “you have to work off more calories than you consume”, but with that extra bit of help from an expert watching over me, I would know how much exercise to embark upon.

I don’t believe in faddy diets. I have discovered that, for me, a low calorie diet or intake is easier to handle than a low-fat, low-carbohydrate one.  So, failing my own Personal Chef residing physically in my home, I guess receiving mouth-watering meals in personalised hampers from that Chef would come a very close second.  I would know that he had my best interests at heart, would calorie count so I don’t have to and would allow me to choose vegetables to accompany his menus.  I’m very busy, so to have him do all the shopping and clearing up would be a great bonus!  Also, if he’s a phone call away, that would be a comfort.  Yes, I’m definitely in the market for that.
