Slow Food Tallahassee GRILLS!

Slow Food Tallahassee explored the fun and thrills of open fire cooking. Our esteemed "fire dog" Paul Chamberlain led a discussion and gave a demonstration on how to stoke the fires and cook in the great outdoors, and shared his collection of Dutch ovens, cast iron pans, iron grills and "fish cookers", as well as a "chimney" for starting charcoal with newspaper.  Members then provided their own demonstrations by cooking things such as oysters, bread, apples, marshmallows and lemongrass tea.
