The City of Tallahassee
The City of Tallahassee is the state capital of Florida US. It’s located in the north-west of Florida. It lies 25 miles north of the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, in the north-east section of the Gulf. To understand its geography one needs to visualise Florida’s ‘Panhandle’: the strip of land south of Georgia and east of Alabama that bends south at its western end to become the Florida peninsula.
