Taste, Traditions, and the Honest Pleasures of Food
Welcome to the Slow Food Tallahassee online directory!
In the area of North Florida and South Georgia there are a lot of opportunities to support locally grown, sustainable agriculture. As we work to make this listing as complete as possible we hope that you will contact these producers and see what options are available to you. Many, many of these producers will happily ship or arrange for drop locations for their products. They may also be available at one of the local markets.
In keeping with our Slow Food Principles we encourage you to slow down and enjoy the pleasures of the foods you buy and consume. And we encourage you to understand the connection between the farm and the community. We do our best to maintain the accuracy of these listings but things do change; please contact us directly with additions, questions or concerns about those listed on this site.

Slow Food Tallahassee wishes to express some concern over the following markets. There are many who are participating by buying from traditional, conventional, industrial farms and selling them in the “market” setting. We applaud the occasional farmer who attends these markets and the occasional times when these markets purchase from locals. ASK A LOT OF QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BUY.
