Slow Food Tallahassee had a wonderful open farm experience at Zebra Truck Farm. Thanks to Kevin and Penny for their efforts and for the full explanations of how Zebra Truck Farm CSA works. Thanks to Maggie & Douglas for the beautiful green salad, and to me for the sweet strawberry cake! We missed the large buffet that Slow Food Tallahassee has gotten used to but what we did have was a delight. Jessica from Sweet Grass Dairy as well as representation from White Oak Pastures were there too. Yummy and healthy beef and cheese! There were many new friends met and made at this great open farm event. We also had a rousing discussion about the modern food industry. We all walked away committed to the efforts we're making and smiling with all the knowledge we've gained through our Local Resources Directory.
